Soldier Field was built in 1924 as a memorial to the men and women of our armed services. Eighty years later it still stands as a proud tribute to our military. In their honor, the American flag is displayed in the historic promenade overlooking the field and Gate O.

These commemorative United States flags are now available to the public. As a special offer, you may purchase a flag of remembrance for veterans, family, friends or current members of the armed services. Each one of these memorial flags has flown over Soldier Field and comes with a certificate of authenticity. You are welcome to request the flag be flown on a special day or event at Soldier Field.
