Chicago Cares Serve-a-Thon

Big Day.  Better Schools Brighter Futures.The Annual Chicago Cares Serve-a-thon is the city’s largest day of service. More than 8,000 volunteers will register to show their commitment to our city’s schools as we paint, plant, clean, organize and build at 35 schools across our city. The event is also Chicago Cares’ largest fundraiser, raising funds to support the 200 volunteer programs we create, manage and lead each month. Serve-a-thon works like a walk-a-thon, but instead of walking, volunteers revitalize an under-resourced school, creating a vibrant space for children to learn and grow.
