Rock the Night 5k

Rock The Night 5k (formerly Terrapin 5k) is debuting in Chicago this year with a 5k race and music festival, headlined by Big Head Todd and the Monsters.
The 2014 goodie bag will include a long-sleeved technical half-zip top in men's and women's sizes, and a reusable drawstring backpack. All participants will also receive hamburgers, hotdogs, and beer at the post race party. Beer tickets will be sold on race day for $5 or 5 for $20 when you register. Doors open at 4pm with opening bands starting soon after, leading up to the headlining band, Big Head Todd and the Monsters. Separate tickets will be available for purchase to see Big Head Todd and the Monsters for $25, which does not include the race registration. The official charity partner for Rock The Night is the Special Olympics.
The Special Children’s Charities has been supporting Special Olympics Chicago programs since 1969 in order to promote, foster, and encourage physical and mental health and improvement for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and closely related developmental disabilities. In cooperation with the Chicago Park District, Chicago Public Schools and Special Olympics is committed to providing year-round sports training, recreational and social programs for the children and adults of Special Olympics Chicago.
Registration fee: $45 for 5k and concert, $25 concert only
