Event Information

The Les Turner ALS Foundation’s ALS Walk For Life is one of the country’s largest gatherings of the ALS community with more than 7,000 participants each year. Celebrating hope, courage and caring, the ALS Walk for Life provides families and friends with an opportunity to honor loved ones living with ALS or pay tribute to someone who has passed from the disease.  Starting at Soldier Field, participants walk as teams along the Chicago lakefront path and enjoy music, entertainment, food and children’s activities. In its 16-year history, the Walk has raised more than $13 million, allowing the Les Turner ALS Foundation to increase its investment in vital ALS care and research.
