The ALS Walk for Life is one of the world’s largest ALS gatherings with thousands of participants each year. The Walk brings together people living with ALS, their families and friends in a day of celebration and hope.
Join the Les Turner ALS Foundation for the ALS Walk for Life on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Soldier Field. When you attend the ALS Walk for Life, you’ll take a two-mile stroll along Chicago’s beautiful lakefront and finish your walk going through iconic Soldier Field. Emceed by Phil Schwarz of ABC7 and Melissa McGurren of 101.9FM THE MIX, funds raised for the Les Turner ALS Foundation are used to provide comprehensive care for people living with ALS, a local community of support and hope through scientific research. Teams fundraise in honor or memory of a loved one with ALS and gather in a day full of celebration, hope and courage. With food, music and children’s activities, the day is meant for all those who love or have loved someone living with ALS to come together as one, big family.
With approximately 7,000 participants, the ALS Walk for Life is Chicagoland’s largest gathering of the ALS community. Registration is free, and participants are encouraged to fundraise. Parking is available in the Solider Field garages.
